Leadership, Mindset & Career coach for Women
I work with women who want to get more from work, more fulfilment, more recognition, more confidence, more joy, more peace, or more power to influence change. There is so much we have to navigate as women. Biases that make it harder for our voices to be heard. Messages from childhood, the media, or the people around us, signalling how we should behave, dress, or think. We are capable of so much more than we realise, but sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we feel stuck and possibly alone. With all the noise out there, it can be hard to hear our own thoughts, to know which way to turn. Let’s create a clearing in the woods, an expansive, safe and brave space, outside the pressure of day to day life. A space to explore what’s happening inside you and as well as in the world outside you, and find new ways forward.
// My ethos
It’s empowering to see the water we swim in. Once we see things as they really are, we can decide what to do next. Whilst all of this might sound brave (it is!) and bold, my work is built on deep care, warmth, joy, clarity and change. Together we unpack what’s here, take a good look at what might be going on, and work out how to navigate interpersonal dynamics and situations that aren’t currently working for you.
// Who I work with
I work with women at all stages of their career journey, from first jobs to CEO’s looking for a thinking partner. I tend to work with people in the creative industries, or in roles where creativity matters.
If you like the sound of my approach and you’re in a different sector please do reach out. I've worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, from law to charities.
// My background
I worked in marketing in the creative sector for 25 years, many of those in senior leadership, before setting up my coaching practice. A surprising career journey for someone who started out as a science teacher. I’ve always been passionate about people development.
// My qualifications
I’m qualified as an Executive Coach and certified with Relational Dynamics 1st – the later focuses on how we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to the world. Bringing the two together, I’ve created a coaching style that centres personal development alongside professional change.
// Other things I do
- Young Women’s Trust: I work with YWT to support early career women, the charity champions gender equality in the workplace. - The Guardian: I've been a mentor at the newspaper for 3 years. I'm part of a programme, helping to close the gender/race pay gap, run by Women of Colour Global network. - Clore Leadership: I support Clore through shortlisting and interviewing applicants for the Clore Fellowship, and also support people in arts and culture through their programmes
// What next?
If you like the idea of working with me, book a chemistry call. It’s a no pressure conversation where you talk through the change you'd like to see, ask me anything you want to know, and see it feels like I'm someone you'd like to work with.
I coach by phone or video call. If you are local to St Albans, face to face is also possible.
// Availability - beyond what's listed here
The diary only shows my availability for chemistry calls. If we work together there's a wider range of times to choose from. I work Mon - Fri: ranging from 8am to 6.30pm, depending on the day. I am happy to be flexible with slots from one session to the next.
Vetted by Careering: application read, vetting call done, reference taken.
