Nicola Bowyer

I spent years in consultancy - building teams, driving change programmes, mentoring younger women, working as a Chief of Staff - BUT. And it's a big BUT. I knew it wasn't me. My career had been driven by the need (as a single parent) to earn enough money to support my family. I sacrificed interest for money - very intentionally. What this meant is that I became an expert at searching out my fun from other places, whilst working full time. I coached unpaid carers/homeless into work; did creative writing courses and wrote a short film; studied psychology and then came to coaching proper. I got trained and escaped.

My experience in consultancy makes me a better coach. For the last 7 years I've worked with over 250 leaders (and if you work, you lead) delivering 2500+ hours of coaching.

I ultimately work with clients on one of two things - exploring how they can be better leaders or how they work out what's next for them in their career - be it new role, new way of showing up or promotion.
